The City of Boston’s successful bicycle share program, Blue Bikes, has expanded into the heart of Northeastern’s campus. To encourage more biking, Northeastern has partnered with Blue Bikes and installed a new station on Forsyth Street near Huntington Avenue. This new station will complement the two other stations already on campus at the North Parking Lot near Hemenway Street and at the Ruggles MBTA Station on Columbus Avenue.
Benefits of New Station at Forsyth Street:
- A sustainable and convenient option for getting to and from campus
- Provides an alternative for faculty, staff, students, and visitors who don’t want to own, store, or maintain a bike
- Convenient central location, within a 3-minute walk of key buildings such as Curry Student Center, Shillman Hall, Marino Center, and more
Discounted Annual Membership
Northeastern partners with the City of Boston’s Blue Bikes bicycle share system to provide discounted annual memberships to all Northeastern students, faculty, and staff. Visit BlueBikes.com for more information about their program and the locations of additional stations.
