Increase access to campus resources
One of Northeastern’s defining characteristics is its urban campus that is well-connected to the surrounding neighborhoods of Boston. Sharing our campus facilities helps promote reciprocity with our neighbors. NU Crossing provides space, programming and opportunities for local residents at no cost. Other spaces that are open to the public include the campus Arboretum and recreational facilities. The Northeastern University Archives and Special Collections in Snell Library also welcomes all visitors for research, tours, consultations, classes, and events. Here, visitors can engage with the history of Northeastern and Boston’s neighborhood activism.
