Single-Use Plastics Reduction

Hydrate Like a Husky!

Join the pack and help reduce single-use plastics on campus by signing the pledge and using a reusable water bottle

Have you noticed your classmates carrying around reusable water bottles? That’s because single-use plastics cause adverse health effects, pollute our oceans, and harm wildlife and our environment.  Plus, Boston has some of the best drinking water in the country and with our nearly 300 water-bottle filling stations on campus, it is easy to Hydrate Like a Husky.

Take the pledge now to bring and use your own water bottle and help educate others about the importance of reducing plastic waste. This semester, pledge signers will receive a discount on select reusable water bottles and coffee cups at the bookstore!

Tips for Hydrating Like a Husky

  • Visit the Climate Justice & Sustainability Hub at our tabling events to get your own “Hydrate Like A Husky” carabiner so you can attach your bottle to your bag and remember to bring it wherever you go.
  • Take your reusable coffee cup to the many coffee shops, including Starbucks on campus, and receive a discount (even for online orders!).
  • Locate one of our nearly 300 water bottle filling stations on campus using this map.
